The piano-based music of Mark Barnes is like a secret garden, his compositions a hidden pathway to emotions that perhaps you never even knew you had. It’s as if he’s whispering hidden stories of the heart through the piano keys.
Mark is a prolific and versatile musical artist, embracing classical and contemporary, as well as the “New Age” genres. His music is a beautiful, eclectic fusion with a certain cinematic quality. He’s often been described as “ThE BaD BoY oF ChilL OuT.”

“Watercolors,” is a newly released single and the title track from Mark’s forthcoming album, “Watercolors.” The piece is instantly comforting, with its pretty melody conjuring up vibrant, vivid, yet pastel imagery of, perhaps, one’s life experiences. A steady piano line grounds us and the string instrumentation uplifts the spirit at the same time. Softly luminous with a lovely, tranquil, and calming vibe, Mark plays passionately and with emotion, thus we feel the heart chakra opening and a warm glow filling the space.
